It was a question Andreas had been asked many times over the years. Then Marcus came up with the same idea. Andreas knew exactly what he was being asked to do. “Well, yes, I could. It wouldn’t be vintage-correct, but it’s possible.” And with that, a new idea began to take shape.

As with the Sinner & Saint HB Set, Andreas began thinking about how modern materials could be incorporated into the original recipe. He added a little extra punch to the bridge pickup and a touch of sparkle to the neck and middle pickups, bringing a fresh and ‘PURE’ dimension to the classic sound. The result was something that felt both familiar and new–a sound rooted in 1954, brought into the modern era with a distinctly ‘PURE’ character.
