Schwarz Custom St. Helens Flame/Brazilian RW (on commission)

A superb, nuanced Les Paul tone.

If you know us well, you’ll already know that we’re big fans of Schwarz Custom Guitars. Gerhard Schwarz builds instruments that rank right at the top alongside Bartlett and other respected names in the industry. The attention to detail, the careful wood selection, and our HB PW make this St. Helens something truly special.

The original owner purchased it in 2022 and has kept it in excellent condition. There are a few signs of play, as shown in the photos, but nothing substantial. The guitar features a dark Brazilian rosewood fretboard with a wonderful tonal character. The top shows a beautiful flame, and the finish is exceptionally well done.

Tonally, it clearly carries the spirit of a ’59. The sound is very well balanced, with excellent string separation and a pleasing, musical response. The installed Amber Spirit of 59 pickups complement this classic character with a fitting PAF-inspired voice. Of course, we’d be happy to swap the pickups for any of our in-house sets should the new owner prefer a different tonal direction.

The guitar comes with the original CITES certificate and original case.
