Look at this top!

Rarely we see such nice tops on Reissue models by Gibson, as these tops are usually kept for the Collectors' Choice and Murphy Lab guitars.

Bought by it's previous owner in Berlin at the Gibson Custom Shop shop, this guitar was selected from many guitars of the same kind. It was already back then upgraded with a rare pickup set: Area 59 "The Beast" limited edition set. Set no. 18, from a total of 100 sets worldwide. At the same time the electronics were upgraded too.

To us, this Gibson Les Paul R9 has the perfect weight: 3.96kg. It also has the right amount of playwear, which blends well with its sound and mojo. The guitar is missing its papers and stock pickups, but the original case is included.

2013 saw some really good guitars being produced. This one is no exception.
