Crafted in the Fender Custom Shop, this 1962 Stratocaster captures the essence of an early-’60s Strat while benefiting from the precision and consistency of modern Custom Shop craftsmanship. Every detail of this instrument has been carefully considered to deliver authentic vintage character, superb tone, and outstanding playability.

The body is made from 3-piece alder, a classic Stratocaster tonewood known for its balanced response, clear highs, focused midrange, and lively resonance. Finished in Vintage White, the guitar features a tasteful Journeyman Relic nitrocellulose lacquer finish, giving it the subtle look and feel of a well-maintained vintage instrument while allowing the wood to resonate freely.

The maple neck paired with a dark-sorted AAA rosewood fingerboard offers an exceptionally comfortable playing experience. Its ’63 Strat “C” neck profile sits naturally in the hand, blending vintage feel with modern comfort. Combined with a 9.5" fingerboard radius and 21 vintage-style frets, the neck allows for effortless bending, smooth lead playing, and comfortable chord work across the entire fretboard.

At the core of its sound are three Hand-Wound ’60s Strat pickups, delivering the unmistakable Stratocaster voice: shimmering cleans, warm neck pickup tones, and the characteristic chime and quack of the in-between positions. A 5-way selector switch provides excellent tonal versatility, making this guitar equally at home in blues, classic rock, funk, and beyond.

The hardware complements the instrument perfectly, featuring an RSD Strat bridge, vintage-style tuning machines with Fender logo, and a bone nut for excellent sustain and tuning stability.
