This is one of those guitars.

We first encountered it at the Fender Dealer Event during NAMM 2026, and it immediately stood out from the crowd. Surrounded by countless outstanding Custom Shop instruments, this Strat simply had something special. Not only visually, but even more importantly, sonically. Within minutes, it was clear to us: we had to secure this one. We are therefore especially excited to be able to offer this exact instrument today.

This Custom Shop Strat is built around early-'60s specifications and comes finished in a beautifully executed Super Heavy Relic Vintage White over 3-Color Sunburst. The aging work is exceptionally convincing, with a naturally worn appearance that feels authentic from every angle. From the moment you pick it up, it has the character and familiarity of a guitar that has spent decades making music.

The ash body provides exceptional resonance, quick attack, and remarkable clarity. Combined with the rift- and quartersawn maple neck and dark rosewood slab fingerboard, the guitar feels alive in your hands. The Early '60s Oval C neck profile, 9.5" radius, and 6105 narrow tall frets create the perfect balance between vintage character and modern playability.

Tonally, this guitar immediately reminded us of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s legendary “Number One.” It has that same powerful, open, and dynamic voice that seems to leap out of the amplifier. Bell-like highs, woody mids, and a strong, elastic low end come together in a way that makes every note feel alive. It is one of those rare Strats that is incredibly resonant even before plugging in—and once amplified, it delivers the kind of inspiring response that keeps you playing for hours.

For this particular instrument, we would strongly recommend the ST Real 62 pickup set. It complements the guitar’s acoustic character beautifully and captures exactly the open, three-dimensional vintage Strat tone that makes this instrument so special. As an alternative, the ST60 set is also an excellent choice.

Visually, the guitar is every bit as impressive as it is sonically. The aged Vintage White finish revealing the 3-Color Sunburst beneath, combined with the perfectly worn hardware and plastics, creates the appearance of a well-loved vintage original.

Some guitars impress you. Others stay with you long after you've put them down. This Strat unquestionably belongs to the latter category. We fell in love with it the moment we played it at the Fender Dealer Event during NAMM 2026—and now that it has arrived, we can confidently say it exceeded even our high expectations.
