Product information "Fender Custom '64 Vibroverb Reissue (consignment)"

With the ’64 Vibroverb Custom, Fender brought the golden Blackface era back to life — hand-wired, authentic, and delivering the tone that has defined Texas blues and country rock for decades.

This version combines the legendary character of the original with tasteful, musical refinements developed in collaboration with renowned amp technician Cesar Diaz. The result is classic Blackface tone with added punch, flexibility, and attitude.

Two fully independent channels, each with Hi and Lo inputs, offer maximum versatility. The specially designed 15" Eminence speaker delivers a full, powerful 40 watts at 8 or 4 ohms, and an additional external speaker can be connected. Thanks to the tilt-back legs, the amp can also be angled for use as an on-stage monitor.

The Normal channel provides classic clean tones with 2-band EQ and volume control. The Vibrato channel adds reverb and tremolo, and a rear-panel toggle switch allows you to choose between standard operation and the “Diaz Mode,” which disables the Normal channel and tremolo to deliver increased gain for hotter Texas blues tones. Another rear switch lets you select between tube or solid-state rectification. Reverb and tremolo in the Vibrato channel can be activated via footswitch.

The Vibroverb delivers beautifully authentic Blackface sounds with modern flexibility. It is certainly not a bedroom amp — it wants to be pushed, and thanks to the absence of a master volume, it truly shines at higher volumes.

The overall condition is excellent, with only minor signs of use.
