Each pickup features the distinctive purple wire winding, synonymous with the holy grail of Humbucker tone. While these pickups bear the PAT Number sticker, they are essentially identical to the short magnet PAF pickups, celebrated for their rich, authentic tone.

Accompanying the set are a set of mylar caps and the original covers, bearing the marks of decades gone by. It's worth noting that we are uncertain about the tape around the bobbins. While it black-lights well and appears to have been in place for a significant period, its composition differs from the typical paper tape found on these pickups. Regardless, the wire is original, so is everything else. One of the lead wires was extended.
